The Vampire Diaries had a final bloody midseason, what are the consequences?

SPOILER ALERT

After the events of Thursday we will have to wait until January 17 to know the reactions of our protagonists. Everything boils down to a phrase "acts and consequences", and how these affect the inhabitants of the troubled Mysic Falls executive producer Julie Plec tells us.

The death of Mayor Lockwood

It seemed to us that the consequence of a revolution should be the person who carried out or one of the people closest to the leader. It was his mother or Tyler. But someone had to pay. When we return in the following episode, there will be gone a little while, and we'll see that Tyler is not handling the situation very well. It is keeping everything to himself, refusing to show their emotions and sinking into his own pain and anger, that is what will make it more difficult to help you. It is sad for Caroline, that he only wants to be there for him. [...]

The first impact (with respect to the death of the Mayor) is that the city lacks a mayor. When we return we will know the man who has been chosen to be the Acting Mayor of Mystic Falls, Rudy Hopkins, who turns out to be the father of Bonnie.

The consequences of acts of Klaus in the Klaroline

What he has done will be that there is a fairly serious setback. I don't think that Caroline is going to look with eyes in a long time. But as we have seen with Klaus, always has a way of affecting people for better or for worse. I wouldn't say that it is the last thing we have seen a connection between them. It is the last time she's going to want a connection between them.

Three things are what has always defined Klaus and how it works and what it does. No. 1 is that he is a survivor, when they betray, you end up paying. ITEM NO. 2 is the power that originates from his unstable childhood in which his own parents wanted him dead. [And no.3] he was a guy that, frankly, was not very well-liked by his parents and hates himself for wanting a life that to rely on the people and love it. We can see glimpses of that long as it relates to Caroline and when relates with his brothers, but also as we have seen when feels cornered against a wall or maltreated or abused that he lashes out in the most dramatic way possible.

Delena, is the link between Elena and Damon broken?

No, the choice of words of Damon indicated what the wanted at that time. You could have it freed and say: "we will not return to us never see, nor they speak with me again, never again think in my." He could have done all those things. Instead, he just send it back to Mystic Falls. She has to go home. She has to listen to him. She will be home, thinking he is doing Damon, and he shall sit upon this House of the Lake, repentant of their choice, though, knowing that it is the right choice. So there will be a lot of sadness and longing by the two. [Laughs]

Until the link no longer exists - and apparently while Elena is vampire is still there - we have to ask the question if Elena's feelings are real. But Elena's journey trying to get to the bottom of what he feels and fond it to, will be part of the road ahead. Because she, in fact, really believes that what she feels is 100% authentic and real. She feels that it has evidence supporting it, since there would be a link to begin with if there was some kind of love before. It is a story of a couple that wants to be together and realizes that should not, however, really want to. [Laughs] So, what will they do?

Professor Shane and the cure. If someone takes the cure for immortality, dies?

All these talks about the cure make make the hearing those questions. What does that mean? How is it presented? What consequences does it have for people taking it? Can it be used as a weapon? It can be used as a gift? do will make you gird up the age reality have and they eventually die? You never know. There are a lot of different ways in which it could go, and our hope is that people follow with their theories.

Joseph Morgan speaks about Klaus priorities and his relationship with Caroline

SPOILER ALERT

In the episode of the Vampire Chronicles Thursday, will finally see Klaus and Caroline join drinking champagne (apparently, that is "theirs" now). Although she is still dating secretly Tyler, there is no doubt that Caroline has been animated with the advances of Klaus. On the other hand, maybe he is somewhat distracted from his evil plan to turn Elena into a bag of human blood.

When Zap2it spoke with Joseph Morgan, said that courting Caroline is becoming a priority for Klaus. "I would say that she is really a priority at the moment," says Morgan. "He definitely still has its own plans, and is still focused on finding a cure for Elena and create more hybrids, but is captive by Caroline. She has managed to get under your skin. Get a more jovial part of it, which I think that she loves, but still have a sociopath shine in your eyes."

Often, the actors in Vampire Chronicles say they prefer the dark part of his characters. Paul Wesley, for example, has been quite eloquent about his affinity by the destripadora nature of Stefan, opposite the romantic hero. For Morgan, however, casual with Caroline scenes are a welcome change.

"I like it, because it's something different", he says. "Working with Candice [Accola] is wonderful, obviously, and I love to explore the great variety that the writers have given Klaus this season. Last year, when Rebekah and her family appeared was delighted because it gave us the opportunity to see a hidden side of Klaus, to see how is it with the people who matter, with people close to him. This is the same as with a love interest, it is something totally new to explore."

Anyway, not everything is chuckles with glasses of champagne and a box of lonely snowflakes. "For people who believe that it has become 'soft' or whatever", Morgan warns, "I can assure you that it is still more than capable of all the horrible things he did at the beginning".

That said, he is not exactly encouraged by the idea of Klaus and Caroline together under a sunset at any next time. The attraction to Morgan is in new challenges, not necessarily in the happy ending.

"I believe that I encourage this, because I have retuiteado a few videos of fans, and they now believe that I am a 'shipper'," he laughs. "The 'captain of the ship' (shipper, in addition to fan who supports a couple, also means 'shipping company')." It is not that, however. You know, even in season 2 he was waiting for any loving relationship, only to have the opportunity to explore that side of Klaus and to add another layer, and see a kind of different chemistry. I'm always interested in trying something new with my character."

Part of making more accessible Klaus as a romantic interest has been to blur the lines between the hero and the villain. This season, we see all of our "heroes" to team up together and kill an innocent hybrid, who had just risking his life to help free Elena. Caroline, Stefan and Jeremy conspired to kill Chris to save Elena, and Tyler was the only one questioning his actions.

Not very far from this, while Klaus was the evil adversary in last season, now we have seen it working with the band rather than against her. "If we were going to keep Klaus in season 4, really needed provide them with a common purpose," said Morgan. "If you really wanted to kill everyone, I think that already would have done so, given their strength and their age, so we had to put them to a point where he had a good reason to work together. Paul and I always laugh about it, because Klaus is constantly telling you to Stefan, ' well, this is the plan! Do not tell anyone!' and Stefan do simply, blindly trusting. It is still a threat, but it is a different kind of threat."

Tyler is preparing a revolution against Klaus, while Klaus is too distracted by the charms of Caroline to realize that their power is being systematically destroyed. This does not mean that Klaus ceases to be a formidable opponent for the new alpha male hybrid. "There is no useless an explosive conclusion to that story", promises to Morgan. "We have been building toward something very big, and it is not something you are going to disappoint, I can promise you."

In "or Come, All Ye Faithful", the last event of Mystic Falls has a wonderful winter theme, and some of the artistic work of Klaus. We will see some toast Christmas themed, and some Sparks, but this still is Vampire Chronicles, and rumors plotting a possible death in this episode. Asked Morgan if Klaus has something to do with the bloodshed, his lips are sealed.

"When we do these interviews, they send us an email with the points on which we can talk, and at the end there is a section that says 'DNR'," laughs. "Thats Do Not Reveal (not disclosed), and it is precisely in that part of the list. And it is underlined, so it can not in any way say anything."

Outside of his work in Vampire Chronicles, Morgan completed a short film, "Revelation", with his co-star in Vampire Chronicles, White Persian, in the title role. The work of ten minutes was recently sent to six festivals, and fans can expect a trailer in 30seconds relatively soon.

"The ultimate goal is to vote online for free, but unfortunately for some festivals in which participated, as Cannes, having it available online we would disqualify immediately, so I'm trying to do it all in the right order", says Morgan. "I feel a little bad, because tuitee much about it and still I could not release it, but my hope is to have a broadcast in Atlanta and then make it available online".

Joseph Morgan: "Klaus motivation is based on the search for the cure"

SPOILER ALERT

One thing is certain with Klaus, and is that you can never be sure of what really is planning or thinking. The centuries of solitude and being frequently pursued by death in recent years would either became cautious.

So, what is his goal in this season 4? Morgan said that Klaus motivation is based on the search for the cure.

"I have two reasons in mind, the first return to human Elena again to ensure its supply endless hybrids... as they seem to die quickly", joked. "The second would be to destroy the cure".

Morgan talked about his temporary dewatering "at the hands of the band Scooby Doo of Mystic Falls" at the end of season 3 and your desire to keep your enemies close, while gaining any advantage as you can about them.

"The cure could very possibly be used as a weapon, if the were forced to take it", says.

The almost constant plot against Klaus, a recurring theme TVD has not gone unnoticed for him.

Morgan joked about a montage of clips on YouTube dedicated to characters talking about killing Klaus, and then she gave to understand that the hybrid "not forgotten" and who will pay for it.

When asked if the streak of Klaus sociopath remained relatively dormant, or at least reduced as we get closer to 2013, Morgan said that, otherwise, "I am sure that there will be many horrors".

Any person who is not in your list of enemies still? Professor Shane, whose motifs - any that are - are about to create many problems for Klaus. On your radar, however, emerging Alpha Tyler. According to Morgan, the already non-syred character played by Michael Trevino, could represent the greatest threat to Klaus.

"The des-syrement of the hybrids, the union of the herd of Tyler, and the inevitable confrontation, especially with Caroline now among them, lead undoubtedly to a totally mind-blowing climax," said Morgan. As for the love that the two share, Morgan said that romantic proposals from Klaus and the feelings for Caroline are not hiding sinister intentions. Probably.

"When we film this scene (the sneak peek of Episode 4 × 09), the director told me that there is an element of cat and mouse", recalled. "But I think that it is a playful element. He has no ulterior motives, but do enjoy hunting." "The fact that she is doing so quite difficult makes it more interesting for him".

We ask to give us some spoiler about what lies ahead for his character and the rest of the crew of Mystic Falls in the 4th season, Morgan ominously promised that "there is much evil to be seen", and that no one is absolutely safe.

"The writers are not afraid to kill characters, even the Favorites of fans, and even those who carry on the series long time", said. "Some fans will be disappointed but all of them are surprised." "Everything will change. It is happening as we speak."Morgan also promised that Elijah and Rebecca will return soon, and said to enjoy thoroughly both with the "macabre" side of the relationship between Klaus and Stefan "shared and playful wickedness" with Damon.

Walked with rodeos, however, when asked what Salvatore had to be Elena:
"If i were still human, I'd say that she should be with Matt. It is so good, and she appreciates him so little! Now that she is a vampire, well, maybe she should be with who makes it the best vampire who can be. “

Kat Graham and Cottrell Guidy go shopping for a Christmas Tree

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Kat Graham is eager to jump-start the holiday festivities. With a hit television series under her belt, a hot album rising up the charts, and a recent engagement to long-time beau Cottrell Guidry, the Vampire Diaries actress is ready to celebrate her wonderful year. And what better way to embrace the wintry fun than to spruce up her home with the pine-fresh-smelling Christmas tree?

Over Thanksgiving break, the 23-year-old beauty (looking fierce in a leather jacket and black skinny jeans) and her fiance stopped by a local Christmas tree farm in Los Angeles to choose the perfect evergreen. As they strolled around the lot while holding hands, the gorgeous couple looked as happy as could be and positively enamored with each other.

Check out photos from their casual yet cute date in the gallery below! (Craving more holiday action? Enjoy pics from Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev’s Christmas tree shopping date here.)

Ian and Nina go shopping for a Christmas Tree

When they’re not filming racy scenes for their hit series The Vampire Diaries, sharing sweet kisses in the City of Lights, and whipping up pizza pies together, Ian Somerhalder and his TVD on and off screen love interest, Nina Dobrev, search for ways to make the holiday season more festive. And at the top of their Winter To Do list? Finding the perfect Christmas tree!

The real life couple was spotted looking merry and bright at a Christmas tree lot in Atlanta, Georgia on December 5. Ian — comfy in a long-sleeved thermal shirt — and Nina — cozy in a Little Red Riding Hood inspired toggle coat by American Eagle — strolled around the perimeters while studying various trees, having a laugh, and breathing in the fresh pine scent surrounding them.

Check out their adorable photos in the gallery below, and then drop us a note telling us which Vampire Diaries cast member you’d love to spend the holidays with!

Happy Birthday Ian!

We say him a few days ago buying the christmas tree with her girlfriend, Nina ... But today its Ian´s birthday!
That’s right, Ian’s turning 34 today and you know what that means…it’s time for a birthday wish!

Ian Somerhalder is asking all of his fans, friends, and family to donate to the Ian Somerhalder Foundation this year to help with making a global impact. In his own words, “These gifts are irreplaceable and way surpass any physical gift.” Here’s more:

“I know many of you and I know the selfless desire you have to give, celebrate and contribute to ISF, so I have a back-up plan for those who simply cannot resist the urge to give a gift to both ISF and myself this birthday: donations! I know it sounds simple, but all donations big and small fuel our resources to continue expanding and making change for the voiceless of this planet: our skies, seas, energy, habitats and of course our furry friends. We’re so grateful to companies who are supporting us in reaching our goals too! This year, ISF is a team in the Mozilla FireFox Challenge! How cool is it when kindhearted companies like Mozilla are willing to go big on donations and generously give towards turning individual action into global impact?? Companies that truly give in such an abundant manner create some pretty beautiful, symbiotic relationships and instill a sense of hope for blossoming unions between the for-profit world and the non-profit world. With your support, we could win some amazing funds that will be channeled into some pretty incredible projects and initiatives we have lined up for 2013! So please put on your party hats, get fired up about the Mozilla Firefox Challenge, and let’s celebrate another incredible year!!!”

Phoebe Tonkin with Jan Logan Jewellery

Having played a fun-loving mermaid named Cleo in H2O: Just Add Water, a badass witch named Faye Chamberlain on The Secret Circle, and a cheeky were-chick named Hayley on The Vampire Diaries, Phoebe Tonkin has certainly proven that she has the power to intrigue and enthrall. Thus, it’s no surprise that Australian leading jewelry design house, Jan Logan, has named the gorgeous 23-year-old actress the new face of their 2013 collection.

Other well-known Jan Logan Jewellery ambassadors include Teresa Palmer, Rachael Taylor, Anna Torv, and Rose Byrne. Take a look at Phoebe – stunning in a Alex Perry frock — attending the Jan Logan Hudson collection launch and take a peek at her beautiful campaign photos as well below!

The Salvatore play truth or dare

In the seventh episode of The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Caroline Forbes experienced a revelation of mind-blowing proportions — namely, that Elena Gilbert is sire bonded to Damon Salvatore, which explains her odd, uncharacteristic behavior. Caroline then shared her theory with Stefan who, in TVD episode 4.08, will confront his Damon with all the suspicious-sounding details.

You see, Stefan knows that Elena was turned on Damon’s blood and believes that Damon is purposefully manipulating the sire bond between himself and Elena by allowing her to feed from his vein. Moreover, he wants proof that Damon isn’t using that supernatural connection to romance Stefan’s ex. Damon, on the contrary, is insulted that Stefan would ever accuse him of such a thing. “Sired? Really, Stefan?” he scoffs. “That’s the most pathetic nonsense I ever heard come out of your mouth, and you’ve said some crap in your day.”

Sound tense? You betcha. Watch a preview clip from “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street” below, and witness the rest of the heated scene as the two Salvatore brother argue about Elena’s mysterious personality change.

Interview: Julie Plec: "All this will do Delena more stronger than ever or destroy it forever"

Does Elena love Damon really? Or is it all for that damn link?

Damon and Elena are going to ask these same questions. Damon, accustomed to rejection, will probably think more about it than Elena. She has very clear how she feels.

When will Elena find it out?

Next week.

Is there any real hope for Damon and Elena as to become a real couple?

The problem of the sire thing will force them to inspect deep feelings that have towards the other in an attempt to define and defend them. This could make them stronger than ever, or destroy them forever.

How will Stefan react to the fact that Elena was sired by Damon?

For Stefan, this surprise turns into hope that helps explain why he and Elena drifted so much. But we are also going to see much more of Stefan trying to find their own strength and the redefinition of what wants for himself.

Ian Somerhalder: "There is a lot of suffering between Damon and Elena on if their love is real or not"

TV Guide has interviewed Ian on the new line in the history of his character after the seventh episode of the fourth season. Then we leave you with the interview, although it seems that it is not complete, and a new image of Damon and Elena in the episode 4x09.

Elena and Damon pass to action? Are their real feelings?

SPOILER ALERT

After the events in the episode of last Thursday, our minds are full of doubts and questions about what we can expect. Executive producer Julie Plec breaks the silence and tells us everything (or almost everything).

Zap2it: The spawning link has been a very discussed topic during the last two weeks. How long have you been thinking? Did you know when Elena was transformed that you like to follow this path?

Plec: In fact it occurred to us when we started to treat the history of hybrids with Tyler. When Tyler was begotten by Klaus, and Damon said: "Oh, shit, I know what is this", he planted the seed that, when finally we were down that road with Elena, the vampire that Elena drink blood could engender to the. From there it was a logical conclusion that would be Damon, so it really is something that we have been thinking for a long time. The reason why we have kept alive the history of hybrids this year and as the main theme, has been to create that context for the public so that when we enteráramos Elena has been engendered, everything would make sense.

Zap2it:  It is no doubt alarming for the fans that have been waiting to see Damon and Elena together and that they finally could roll up, and also intersperse it with evidence that her feelings for him are not real. There is still the hope that her feelings for him are real?

Plec: Without position myself in one or other of the sides, just by looking at it objectively, from our point of view as narrators, there is more hope than ever for them. What happens is that it is combined with a lot of very deep doubts. Damon is a character who, throughout his life - like vampire and as a human being - has been looking for acceptance, and that someone finally says, "Hey, you're good enough". Finally, it is something that achieves by Elena, and now has put it in doubt. He wants to believe that it is real. She really believes that it is real. But it is the persistent question of what percentage of those feelings are real and what percentage is the effect of a begotten link. It is a question that will make these two people who care for the other so deeply, and we only have put this small obstacle in its way. They have to find a way to overcome it.

Zap2it: I was saddened to see how Twitter reviles Elena because they think she has surpassed her break too soon, sleeping with Damon after leaving it with Stefan. Do you have the concern in the room of writers that was jumping into arms and Damon bed too fast?

Plec: What we wanted to do in the writers room was given to Stefan and Elena the rupture more humane, honest and respectable for a couple that has been so important for so long, and put and end point, so that the end could give rein to their freedom and passion and that interest has been growing for more than two seasons and a half. In the real world, does it happen so fast? You can that does not. But I believe that the reason for the breakdown is that finally can give in to those feelings by Damon, and then ask the question of "Oh my God. Is that what you really felt, or is part of the supernatural relationship between them? “

Zap2it: I loved Stefan in this episode. It is actually in the limit – particularly in the scenes with Jeremy, in giving a little scary. His heart broken by Elena has the potential to push him back into his path as a ripper?

Plec: Oh, definitely is walking on a tightrope, and continue to do so. He is trying to be reasonable, he is trying to be rational, but it is very clearly emotionally driven by desire, as she said, "fix it". In favour of Stefan, we could say that he is right. He actually might be true, that is not what is and is not who is it supposed to be, so his desire is to try to correct that at all costs. So the question that we are going to explore is: does this is who she really is? We do not know.

Zap2it: Before the rupture, Damon and Stefan were the best time in which have been like brothers, long overdue. Is this in danger now?

Plec: Well, the situation now is somewhat compromised by the circumstances, but both, to speak in its favour, will try to follow a set path in the next episode.  What the two are able to work together to do what's right by each other, and Elena, one actually starts the next chapter of the series.

Zap2it: This week, Stefan found a murderer who turned into a vampire to then kill him, but in the episode of last week, the victim of Jeremy was a hybrid friend of Tyler who had just help them. There is a kind of this contempt for the lives of others, outside his closest circle. Is that a theme you are going to treat? It obviously caused some tension between Tyler and Caroline.

Plec: For what served is to basically let Tyler to be the voice of conscience, and the voice of reason. He is saying, ' Hey, you're doing something thinking it is right, but I do not approve it, is not well, and is not good ". It is a kind of reminder of Jiminy cricket that our heroes are doing things to protect what they love, but there is a somewhat murky area there. In our series, there is a fine line that separates the hero from the villain. We want to make it clear that the fact that Stefan and Damon think that something is true, does not mean that it is.

Zap2it: Next week Stefan tells Damon about suspicions about the link to go to New Orleans to look for some answers, and we have a Flashback of when were in 1940. What you most want people to see?

Plec: It is a nice view over Damon and who was then and who I wanted to be, especially in relation to his brother, and how I wanted to do the right thing by his brother then. Somehow it explains its decision on how to do the right thing by his brother right now. We will return to see our favorite girl Lexi, who has been working hard since the days of Stefan Ripper so return to the right path. She goes up to Damon to tell him: "Well, the next step in his recovery is reconciled with his brother". In one way of looking at that time were found.

Paul Wesley talks about Stefan and Elena's break up

How will react Stefan to Elena and Damon's getting closer?: "I think that Elena and Damon are beginning to move closer to the other, I think that Stefan will slightly lose papers. I always see that with good eyes, so I'm very happy. So now we are going to find a cure for Elena. It is very interesting, since we're a little at a time to see if it now cares a shit to Stefan find the cure or will say "Oh, okay, now you're attached to my brother, I don't care". We will see, I don't know what he will do and is very interesting when it is unpredictable.

There will be future relationship between Stefan and Elena?: "I think so. Ultimately, is a funny thing when you're doing a TV series where the stakes are so high and where we're trying to think of a realistic level. She is a vampire, so obviously it is going to have an effect, but in the world of television, the Vampire Diaries world, anything can happen. Maybe there is a way to save the relationship and return to normalcy, but I hope never to again be as before. People change, and I know that they are the romantic love story of the series, but I think that they can potentially find another kind of romance that is not as naive as it was before. I think that in the first season, were a few naive lovers who were unaware of the imminent death of any relationship. It sounds rather negative, I know. "

Do you feel to interpret as extreme characters?: "In someway, we are playing to be superheroes, and when you see any superhero movie, you only have to go with him. Even though it's a teen romance drama, it is also an adventure. I believe that as an actor you have to engage with it. It's not like I'm making Abraham Lincoln, you know what I mean? They were doing a series of vampires. So for me, it's exciting to become a bloodthirsty killer and sociopath, and then return to be a hero again. I believe that these extremes are totally great. It is a fact. But yes, it is obviously very difficult. As an actor, you have to follow the paper and believe you it, not say "what's happening now? How we are coming out with so many murders, and there's no police officer who investigates? Is there really no FBI who comes to Mystic Falls, that 500 people die each month? "But I try not to think about those things."

A life after The Vampire Diaries: "Seriously? No. never! I'll have 45 and will continue to do for Stefan. (Jokes) Obviously, I'm going to work more as an actor, but I am also writing and producing a movie at this time with a very talented director and a writer. We are going to make the coming year. I am also going to be behind the camera, and hopefully go myself. I am not only interested in acting, I am interested in any process of cinematography or television. I'll definitely be glued in this field, but I am thinking really forge me in different points of view rather than just be in front of the camera "."

We'll see Elijah again?

SPOILER ALERT

We all agree that we have much noticed the absence of Elijah in this season, but be confident that the original with the Pantene hair will be back in our living rooms before you even notice. "I'll be back soon", said Daniel Gillies at the low International Film Festival. "Julie Plec says that in episode 15 and 16, but back to recording on the set very soon!" I feel very fortunate to be in two series [The Vampire Diaries and Saving NBC Hope] that are emitting."

Clip of "My Brother's Keeper"!

Spoiler: Old friendships and new meetings

I love the friendship between Stefan and Caroline in The Vampire Diaries. Will we see more than that?

Definitely, and in fact, will make an important discovery in the next episode. Candice Accola also tells us that she is happy that Stefan and Caroline are finally sharing more time on-screen. "Both are struggling trying to support their loved ones in difficult circumstances, which are not necessarily of agreement", she says. "So a through that and find a friendship that has existed since some time ago". (TV Guide)

Got some progress on what lies ahead for Delena?

How about if you return to one of the most memorable moments of the couple, when she's dancing in the parade of Miss Mystic Falls in season 1? The two will meet once more together on the dance floor in the contest of this year and this time without Stefan in the middle of them. Also in this episode, there will be a serious tension between Elena and Caroline. Hmmm...could be these two developments related? (E! online)

New characters arrive to Mystic Falls!

Two new faces are coming to the city.Camille Guaty and Charlie Bewley will be guest stars in at least two episodes of The Vampire Diaries, reports TV Guide.Guaty, whose credits include Prison Break and Las Vegas, interpreted to Caitlin, a woman from the past of Professor Shane (David Alpay).  Shane has been helping Bonnie (Kat Graham) to learn their magic again, but could be bad news, taking into account that it was he who sent the Hunter of vampires Connor (Todd Williams) to Mystic Falls. While both, Bewley, I interpret to the Dimitri vampire in the twilight saga, will give life to Vaughn. Details of the role - with the exception of which will be strong and tough - kept secret, but we are guessing (and hoping!) that will be one of the five. Both actors will appear for the first time in the 13th episode, with the possibility of returning for more. Do you believe that the new additions are good or bad news?

A Merry Christmas in Mystic Falls?, Don't think so...

SPOILER ALERT

It's (almost) Christmas in Mystic Falls! Although Parties are not mentioned because the series has a crazy chronology (is still 2010 in Mystic Falls?), we'll see a chapter with a winter landscape just before the Christmas break, and it will be cheerful and happy and all that good stuff. "It's very beautiful," said Candice Accola. "The set was completely beautiful, and it's a very crazy chapter. It is huge and there are lots of things to do. And everything is going well, and is perfect and wonderful, and there are no problems, and all happily drink chocolate at the end of the chapter." (This just arrived: Candice Accola is a dirty liar.)
