Tessa and the Salvatore secrets

SPOILER ALERT

Tessa knows everything, Janina talks about his character, appearing for the first time in 'The Vampire Diaries' this week.

Prepare for impact, Vampire Diaries fans, because Mystic Falls is about to be hit by a few bombings. Janina Gavankar joins the series on October 18 as a mysterious woman named Tessa, and account to HollywoodLife.com that "cannot believe" that it will be responsible for revealing much about the Salvatores - including a "disturbing" message on Damon's future (Ian Somerhalder), and a few surprises about Stefan's past (Paul Wesley) that will change the game.

"She has a bad side which you don't want to see," says Janina of his dark character, who also has "a 18 pages of monologues", which reveal huge secrets of both Salvatore brothers. "She says somehow, 'You think that you know, but you have no idea.'"

So, we know almost nothing of Tessa, except that 'frustrated' Damon and Elena plan to save Stefan.
Janina: Ah, Yes, excellent use of 'frustration.' You'll know her for first time in episode three, entitled 'Original Sin.' It is a flashback episode, so you will discover many things. Tessa will tell you lots of information. She is part of Stefan's past, and she is about to bring the truth.

How long ago does Tessa with Stefan?
Janina: As far back as him. … You will understand exactly what this means once the episode finishes.

What we will discover will change the way in which we look at Stefan?
Janina: Yes, definitively.

As there are flashbacks involved, have you had fun with ridiculous wigs and costumes?
Janina: I've been through more tests of makeup and hairstyling in this series, cumulatively, than in my entire career [which includes series such as Arrow and True Blood]. They were many, but I am very happy to do so, because I think that we arrived at something that makes little sense. Us has taken a lot of time thinking about how you view, carrying and where it comes.

OK, now let's talk about Damon. I understand that Tessa reveals something bad about his future?
Janina: Oh, right! I can not tell you that it says exactly, but Tessa knows everything. It is about to drop a bomb [in Damon and Stefan], want or not hear, that they do not want. The majority of people don't want to know what he knows, but is about to make them face the truth. Is like, 'Listen, sit, because I'm about to handle things in the way that I need.'

How was entering a series on its fifth season?
Janina: Well, actually I had a fun time with Steven McQueen. The second landed in Atlanta, was as ' that someone let me all DVDs right now!' So I was in my dressing room, front of Steven, and he came out of his to say hello. Honestly I did not recognize him because, on the screen of my dressing room, was a small boy emo - and this burly man came out of your room. I was like, ' Enchanted to meet you. To interpret who?' Meanwhile, there was a frozen picture of him on my TV screen.

Wow, that is really awkward, what girl? Have you ever worked with her also?
Janina: I've done this, and let me tell you that Nina Dobrev is working hard. Working an insane amount of hours, people or imagines. To the end of my career in the series, I was doing things that have never done before in the series, and I'm very happy to be part of it and see her do it. We have had lots of fun. … Oh, and not only this girl is doing all those hours, but that it manages to seem completely light... is fantastic. He loves his series, and is proud of it.

Is there anything else that we should know about Tessa?
Janina: There's so much I want to tell you. Both will be discovered in this episode, I can't wait to read the tweets. So, people who read this, twitteadme your thoughts! … Seriously, I can't believe that it has been responsible for bringing This character to this successful series.

Bonnie will want revenge

SPOILER ALERT

After sacrificing herself in The Vampire Diaries to help bring life back to Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Bonnie (Kat Graham) faces to tell her friends her death. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola) starting again at the Whitmore University, without being aware of the true fate of her friend, this task will not be easy for her.

"There will be some internal struggle", says Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie, to The Hollywood Reporter. "If she talks to someone about it, then it becomes real, that is what I believe she is trying to avoid."

Thanks to Bonnie connection's to the real world with Jeremy, her situation "helps them," says Graham. "She knows that he cares about her." The only time when they become into serious conflict soon is when perhaps he will want that she tells the truth: that she is dead. That, for her, is not an option right now."

And when her friends discover the truth, Graham has ideas about how she would like them to react like - hypothetically speaking... "It would be completely devastating," she says. "Bonnie has been a large part of their lifes so it would be really hard, I guess."

The actress admits that playing Bonnie on the "other side" has been a difficult challenge.

"It's something that I have never experienced before - having to interpret this level of extreme agony and which no one is there to respond to, literally, until they say"cut"and the director approaches and says, 'Are you okay?' "says Graham."When they say 'rolling' until they are cut, I'm alone in space. It takes you to the next level when you are extremely exposed

Be witness how Silas kills her father, the Mayor Rudy Hopkins, at the end of the premiere of the 3 Oct, it also serves as catalyst for the new mission of Bonnie.

"You can either become weak for something or you can let it strengthen you", and she says, ' whatever that is what Silas wants, we can not let him have it,'" says Graham."It is becoming her against Silas. Bonnie is a character that is not easily weakened by the circumstances and she is someone who will want to revenge her father."

Graham offered a metaphor for her scene with Elena and Caroline, who showed friends putting a foot for the first time on the campus of Whitmore.

"Is like someone who cannot cut the tap and continues and continues and ends simply overflowing," she recalls about the bittersweet moment. "That it's what that scene was for me. I'm really proud of it."

Perhaps there is a chance that Bonnie returns to Mystic Falls, but Graham - who joked about having scenes with Jesse (Kendrick Sampson) - was evasive. "I don't want people to lose hope on Bonnie because they think that she is not useful. She is dead but not gone,"she says. "There are still interesting things to do for her, while on the other side."

And no one leaves without saying an intriguing joke, so Graham suggests that there is a scene of Jeremy/Bonnie "which has to do with candles" and "perhaps" it is the romantic type.

Blood lines: Get to know the complicated Familiar Tree of The Vampire Diaries

SPOILER ALERT

Season 5 began on Thursday with a surprising new mystery: Megan's death, Elena's College classmate, and her relationship with Elena's father (also dead). Until we can even try to figure out the connection of Megan to Elena's family, probably it would be a good idea to get a day with all the relationships that we know in this supernatural drama so far.

In the last four seasons, The Vampire Diaries has had a complex web of relationships and connections of vampires who have become human, werewolves who have becomed hybrids, witches cast spells and humans had close relations to the death. Zap2it has simplified things and drew all the lineages of The Vampire Diaries in the following infographic.

Michael Malarkaey joins The Vampire Diaries

Malarkey will interpret Enzo, a charismatic and tortured character of Damon's past who will come to Mystic Falls desperate to be with his old friend. His first appearance will be at the December 5 episode.

Paul Wesley talks about the Traumas and the Loving life of Stefan in Season 5

SPOILER ALERT

Stefan (Paul Wesley) can not spend all the season 5 perpetually drowning at the bottom of the river, right? But how is the Stefan coming out? How will this terrible experience change his perspective of people that exist in his life? Paul talked to ETonline about the possible changes for Stelena and Steroline in this new season.

- Stefan's Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

When Stefan comes out of that river, not everything will be perfect. Paul described the experience of "infinite torture" for Stefan and said: "he is really crazy. Almost as if he had post-traumatic stress disorder." But there is one thing that this experience has given to him, and is a time to think about his life--and in the people who are in it.

"You will discover that the only way that can support himself is to recreate hallucinations that are revealing," said Paul. "Somehow, he is having epiphanies back down." Epiphany 1 on Stefan: should stop going to Highschool.

- Platonic Stelena

Some hallucination about Stelena? According to Paul, Stefan and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are in the area of friends now, and their relationship will be so different from everything we've seen so far.

"I want fans to see this new version of their relationship because I believe that it was becoming a bit unreal" said Paul. "They came to a situation very platonic towards the end of season 3, and to be honest, I don't see it as a triangle anymore. In my eyes, they have become friends, so you have something that's completely strange - like being at the bottom of a river, drowning over and over again. It is good because it adds another variable that can mix things and perhaps leads to a new romance."

- Hope for Steroline

Like the other important woman in his life - his best friend Caroline (Candice Accola) - is there any chance that his feelings for her also change in season 5?

"So far everything has been really platonic between them, but again, some circumstances will make Stefan to see in her a new light," said Paul. "I don't know how she will feel for him."

What is this "new light" Stefan will look on Caroline? That sounds pretty promising to us. And since the current boyfriend of Caroline recently gave the news that won't go to college with her by the voice message that left her, wonder if Caroline will not begin to search company somewhere else.

An hour later, the premiere of The Originals brings to 2.15 million viewers and a 0.9 in the target 18-49 years, although it lose little audience regarding the TVD, they are a bit low for a premiere numbers and more if we take into account that next week it will move to its schedule of Tuesdays at 8 pm and you could lose more than audience. Stefan will be a bit crazy on this season

SPOILER ALERT

Paul Wesley has played with various incarnations of his character, since the sensitive Stefan Ripper Stefan and several intermediate shades. But in the beginning of season 5, Wesley confronts his greatest challenge when refearing to interpret two characters - a Stefan destroyed physically and his immortal and manipulative Silas doppelganger.

At the end of last season, Stefan was going city to bury what he believed was the body of Silas while also gets a fresh start away from Mystic Falls and the love of his life, Elena, who is now dating his brother Damon. However, his game plan went suddenly wrong when Silas transformed into a "shadow self" - a doppelganger - locked him in a coffin and throws it at the bottom of the river.

"Stefan is really will be fucking head when you exit the quarry", says Wesley to TVGuide.com in the video below. "You had all these experiences of torture and so now does not react in the same way as before and is not so malleable. It is definitely a different man".

Until Stefan returns to Mystic Falls, will make it Silas. His friends and his brother won't know immediately that it is not he. But not happened long before that Damon and Jeremy feel that something happens - especially when this "new" Stefan is completely different, much more cocky.

"Silas has much pain and anger, but is masked," says Wesley. "[Not be] intimidated by anything and the world is your playground." It is 2,000 years old and lies to itself as supremely more interesting and sophisticated. It does not feed people, thinks that it is crude and primitive so it manipulates people to cut and shed his blood and then you drink it, it is a bit posh."

As Stefan suffers and Silas wreaks havoc, Elena with Stefan connection is stronger than ever, giving you a deep feeling that something is very wrong. "When these in love with someone, even if in your life don't have that connection with them, the love remains, whether romantic or not". Says Nina Dobrev. "When she learns what has happened will not be easy for it".

Ultimately, Elena, Damon and company will realize that who thought what Stefan is actually Silas, while at the same time Stefan you will finally leave his perpetual state of suffocation. As a thesis, two versions continue to coexist, Wesley interpreted the two characters until the bad boy of the season defeated - at least that is not. While fans may recall that the last villain epic, Klaus, was originally supposed to die in season 2. How it became a favorite of the fans, his character remained in the series and in last instance he earned his own spin.off. What happens if Wesley received the same adoration during his time as Silas?. The Executive producer Julie Plec tells us there is always a backup plan.

"He is a villain and at some point the bad boy needs to be treated and overcome, no matter how good that are. So we'll see." Plec says.
