WELCOME TO THE BITTER DANCE - With the hope of helping everyone following the recent traumatic events, Caroline convinces Elena and Bonnie to go to the "bitter dance" in Whitmore for broken heart students. Bonnie is accompanied of a classmate called Liv (guest star Penélope Mitchell), who seems to be starting in witchcraft. Tyler begins to worry about the relationship of Matt and Nadia. After making disturbing discoveries, Stefan has a frustrating conversation with Damon and Enzo. Dr. Wes struggles to continue with their research project with the help of a new benefactor named Sloan (star guest Caitlin McHugh). Still bent on revenge, Damon and Enzo come up to violence to convince Bonnie and Jeremy to help them, but their plan leads to a shocking and unexpected turn.
