During his speech this Sunday with the journalist at the Television Critics Association's Winter Tour, the Executive President of The CW, Mark Pedowitz, confirm that they are working on a spin-off branch of his series The Vampire Diaries star. According to Pedowitz, are "believers when you have Lake that works you can use it to give life to other shows".
According to their statements series will follow the life of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and the family of original vampires in New Orleans. "They will have new Orlenas Crucible and will have to deal with a lot of Voodoo and all that that entails," says Pedowitz.
The series is considered a strong contender for a place in the next season 2013/2014.
