Paul Wesley talks about Stefan and Elena's break up
How will react Stefan to Elena and Damon's getting closer?: "I think that Elena and Damon are beginning to move closer to the other, I think that Stefan will slightly lose papers. I always see that with good eyes, so I'm very happy. So now we are going to find a cure for Elena. It is very interesting, since we're a little at a time to see if it now cares a shit to Stefan find the cure or will say "Oh, okay, now you're attached to my brother, I don't care". We will see, I don't know what he will do and is very interesting when it is unpredictable.
There will be future relationship between Stefan and Elena?: "I think so. Ultimately, is a funny thing when you're doing a TV series where the stakes are so high and where we're trying to think of a realistic level. She is a vampire, so obviously it is going to have an effect, but in the world of television, the Vampire Diaries world, anything can happen. Maybe there is a way to save the relationship and return to normalcy, but I hope never to again be as before. People change, and I know that they are the romantic love story of the series, but I think that they can potentially find another kind of romance that is not as naive as it was before. Do you feel to interpret as extreme characters?: "In someway, we are playing to be superheroes, and when you see any superhero movie, you only have to go with him. Even though it's a teen romance drama, it is also an adventure. I believe that as an actor you have to engage with it. It's not like I'm making Abraham Lincoln, you know what I mean? They were doing a series of vampires. So for me, it's exciting to become a bloodthirsty killer and sociopath, and then return to be a hero again. I believe that these extremes are totally great. It is a fact. But yes, it is obviously very difficult. As an actor, you have to follow the paper and believe you it, not say "what's happening now? How we are coming out with so many murders, and there's no police officer who investigates? Is there really no FBI who comes to Mystic Falls, that 500 people die each month? "But I try not to think about those things."
A life after The Vampire Diaries: "Seriously? No. never! I'll have 45 and will continue to do for Stefan. (Jokes) Obviously, I'm going to work more as an actor, but I am also writing and producing a movie at this time with a very talented director and a writer. We are going to make the coming year. I am also going to be behind the camera, and hopefully go myself. I am not only interested in acting, I am interested in any process of cinematography or television. I'll definitely be glued in this field, but I am thinking really forge me in different points of view rather than just be in front of the camera "."

We'll see Elijah again?

We all agree that we have much noticed the absence of Elijah in this season, but be confident that the original with the Pantene hair will be back in our living rooms before you even notice. "I'll be back soon", said Daniel Gillies at the low International Film Festival. "Julie Plec says that in episode 15 and 16, but back to recording on the set very soon!" I feel very fortunate to be in two series [The Vampire Diaries and Saving NBC Hope] that are emitting."

Spoiler: Old friendships and new meetings
I love the friendship between Stefan and Caroline in The Vampire Diaries. Will we see more than that?
Definitely, and in fact, will make an important discovery in the next episode. Candice Accola also tells us that she is happy that Stefan and Caroline are finally sharing more time on-screen. "Both are struggling trying to support their loved ones in difficult circumstances, which are not necessarily of agreement", she says. "So a through that and find a friendship that has existed since some time ago". (TV Guide)

How about if you return to one of the most memorable moments of the couple, when she's dancing in the parade of Miss Mystic Falls in season 1? The two will meet once more together on the dance floor in the contest of this year and this time without Stefan in the middle of them. Also in this episode, there will be a serious tension between Elena and Caroline. Hmmm...could be these two developments related? (E! online)
New characters arrive to Mystic Falls!
Two new faces are coming to the city.Camille Guaty and Charlie Bewley will be guest stars in at least two episodes of The Vampire Diaries, reports TV Guide.Guaty, whose credits include Prison Break and Las Vegas, interpreted to Caitlin, a woman from the past of Professor Shane (David Alpay). Shane has been helping Bonnie (Kat Graham) to learn their magic again, but could be bad news, taking into account that it was he who sent the Hunter of vampires Connor (Todd Williams) to Mystic Falls. While both, Bewley, I interpret to the Dimitri vampire in the twilight saga, will give life to Vaughn. Details of the role - with the exception of which will be strong and tough - kept secret, but we are guessing (and hoping!) that will be one of the five. Both actors will appear for the first time in the 13th episode, with the possibility of returning for more. Do you believe that the new additions are good or bad news?
A Merry Christmas in Mystic Falls?, Don't think so...

It's (almost) Christmas in Mystic Falls! Although Parties are not mentioned because the series has a crazy chronology (is still 2010 in Mystic Falls?), we'll see a chapter with a winter landscape just before the Christmas break, and it will be cheerful and happy and all that good stuff. "It's very beautiful," said Candice Accola. "The set was completely beautiful, and it's a very crazy chapter. It is huge and there are lots of things to do. And everything is going well, and is perfect and wonderful, and there are no problems, and all happily drink chocolate at the end of the chapter." (This just arrived: Candice Accola is a dirty liar.)

First season's pause
Because of the celebration of Thanksgiving day, this week we won't have an episode premier of The Vampire Diaries. The calendar is in the following manner:
29th November - "My Brother's Keeper" (#407)
6th December - "We'll always have Bourbon Street" (#408)
13th December - "Oh, come, all ye faithful" (#409)
After this date we'll have a new Christmas break until the third week of January.

Candice Accola speaks about Klaus, Miss Mystic Falls and the winter's wonders

Question: What will Caroline do since now?
I think that this season, Caroline tries to be like a species of moralistic centre for not only her, but everyone that surrounds her. For Elena, during her transition, For Tyler, ensuring that nothing happens to them. Now she is very sure about who she is like a vampire, who she is like a woman, and that what she feels is the right thing for any situation. So, we'll see if she needs to do the right thing for a right reason, she will, so like she needs doing a sacrifice for the people around her.
Question: In fan's teory, is that Caroline will spend more time with Klaus with the end of distracting him and avoid that he finds our what Tyler and Hayley are doing.
Caroline has used the feelings of Klaus in the past in her favor for distracting him in way that they could execute their move and try to win Klaus in his own game. We've seen this before, and of course that we'll se it again. But i don't think that Klaus is going to be forever, the torns can change in the last moment. I think that this is the tenting thing for the spectators, see the characters like Klaus. At a moment you think that he is the good guy, and a second after he turns out to be the bad guy. It's clear that he has an authentic side, and it's what we see when he is with Caroline.
Question: When they asked Elena why she didn't asked for help to Caroline for learning to feed instead of Damon, Elena said that Caroline was too good in it... I think that is a question that the spectators had. And you?
Yes and no. To me, personally, love everything the screenwriters are doing, so i never asked myself what is happening because it's sure that they will reveal it along the story, like thay've done with the last seasons. But if Caroline had had an only second for asking her why Elena didn't came asking her for help, if she asked what he really is good in that (Caroline would understand), we know that by nature she is very perfeccionist. Watch her doing a party, and you'll see like she makes sure to prepare even the last detail. She wants to be the best in what she does.
Question: You mentioned about planning a party. In the episode of 29th November we'll have Miss Mystic Falls, and like the last winner, has Caroline things to do in this event?
Yes. Caroline works with Miss Lockwood for anounce the Miss Mystic Falls nominees. Also she takes care of the decoration and organisation of the same. Basically she is the one that takes care of it.
Question: The fans are saying that Caroline will take Klaus as her date.
There are photos of Caroline and Klaus together in Miss Mystic Falls. Of course they'll have their time together.
Question: There is a party which has as theme "Winter Wonderland" in the episode of the 13th of December. How it feels to Mystic Falls?
Truly yhe decoration is incredible. It really was a "Winter Wonderland". It was great in Georgia, sorving a bit of hot tea or coffee while you're sitting outside, plus they have artificial snow and all that beautiful lights, and sound Christmas songs. It was great going there to work that week.
Question: This episode's synopsis says that Stefan and Caroline find thereselfs in disagreement with Tyler about their plans for Klaus and his hybrids. It seems like Caroline lastly didn't have very relationship with Stefan.
We're going to see that Caroline and Stefan will interact more this season. Stefan is constantly trying to make the correct for Elena, though it's not necessary what she seems to want. And Caroline tries to make the correct in what she's sure of all she refers to, including Tyler, the love of her life, even him is ready to risk everything. I don't think that Caroline is ready to risk her life. So, it seems like between Caroline and Stefan comes up a friendship trying to protect who they care about, even if theirselfes don't want to be protected.

This Thursday The Vampire Diaries gets down slightly in the number of viewers with a bit more of... 84 millions of spectators, but continues stable and strong in the demographic with 1.3.

Official synopsis of 4x08: "We'll always have bourbon street"!
A flashback to New Orleans in 1942 - when Stefan (Paul Wesley) confronts Damon (Ian Somerhalder), with suspicion of Elena (Nina Dobrev), Damon has no choice but helping Stefan to investigate. In search of answers, Damon and Stefan visit the modern New Orleans to see if they can find someone who remmembers the events of their last visit in 1942, including one of the former's Damon, Charlotte (invited star Madeline Zima). Elena, Caroline (Candice Accola) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) share a night of girls, while the Salvatore brothers are outside the city, and the emotions will exalt when Elena offers a shocking news. After the insistence of Hayley (invited star Phoebe Tonkin), Tyler (Michael Trevino) confronts one of Klaus's hybrids, Kimberly (invited star Alyssa Diaz), and the situation quickly becomes violent. Finally Damon will face with a wreching decision. The episode was written by Charlie Charbonneau and José Molina and directed by Jesse Warn.

Ready to watch the guys in uniform?

In the episode of the 6th of December of The Vampire Diaries we'll watch a flashback of New Orleans in 1940. We'll can see Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) dressed with their 2nd World War uniform. Like that wasn't suficiently tempting, Stefan's best friend, Lexi (Arielle Kebbel) will also do an appearance.
