They loose their faith

SPOILER ALERT

During this season's starting we've lived with Elena in a transicion to a new life, a life she didn't choose and that she didn't wanted. She feels that when she proceeds like a vampire moves back her humanity. What she doesn't know that maybe exists a way to stop the advancement of her new life. We are refering to that cure which Stefan has decided to mantain as a secret, and what is exactly that silent that could complicate a relationship quite affected. Julie Plec refers to the episode's ending of tonight, The Killer, and she says us:

"When you're in a funcional friendship - a funcional relationship - and you feel that you have something to share, you share it with a friend, with a love, with somebody. Elena always has had that with Stefan and Damon, but now she feels more alone and lost like she's never been. Elena ends the episode really angry with Stefan.
